stairs at the getty in malibu. the wood grain is cool. i also like leaf imprints that i have seen before too. reminder to do this when we build a concrete house.
flip flop outsoles in foreground and pretty palm fronds in tropical, southern china.
v. flop noire, eh?
chevron paisley print. (me closet.) must be 1970s as it is a body suit. i freakin love this print and due to low rider jeans popularity have not been able to wear in quite some time. post-baby mami has not embraced high waisted jeans. a long time ago (1999?) i snagged a vintage pair from my friend camilla’s mom– they were a most excellent gloria vanderbilt, dark dark blue, barely washed.
i picture this top with said high waisted jeans, feathered hair and a sensible heel, like a wedge. on holiday in portofino.
from me closet. love the red print. 50s cocktail dress. i found an occasion to wear this last year and felt like a debutante circa 1954.
Fun print for the 4th…
… back when 4th of July prints were relevant (my past life at Old Navy), I always enjoyed the “twist” we would put on adding an additional color to the typical red-white-n-blue palette. I like the khaki, adds a neutral twist, kinda military.
I found this print for 25 cents on the street in Carrboro (in the form of a cafeteria lady jacket). Can’t quite figure out how I can rock this cafeteria lady jacket, but love the print.
